I would also say that the event hasn't grasped my imagination in the same way that the London candidates did. Whilst I haven't had a lot of time to look at the games I haven't found them that exciting.

Can't rule Topalov out just yet, he is a bit of a comeback king.

Note that we haven't seen a Berlin in the Candidates yet whereas London was full of them. Many exciting games already if you look.

Can we rule him out now, then?

*bumping* this thread.

I have gone back and edited the opening post and marked the check-box that enables people to change their votes (I had intended to do this originally, but forgot).

This means people can switch their votes to Caruana if they want to!

(With 23 votes so far, there are still around 16 people from the original poll yet to vote in this one.)

Switching from Nakamura to Caruana is natural after today's results so, naturally, I have done so.

I'm a bit surprised that Caruana only got 1 vote (he's done well since I switched my prediction from him to Levon  )

Remaining pairings are:

Round 11: Aronian-Svidler, Topalov-Caruana, Anand-Karjakin, and Giri-Nakamura.
Round 12: Svidler-Giri, Nakamura-Anand, Karjakin-Topalov, and Caruana-Aronian.
Round 13: Caruana-Svidler, Aronian-Karjakin, Topalov-Nakamura, and Anand-Giri.
Round 14: Svidler-Anand, Giri-Topalov, Nakamura-Aronian, and Karjakin-Caruana.
Any postings on here represent my personal views

Round 14: Svidler-Anand, Giri-Topalov, Nakamura-Aronian, and Karjakin-Caruana.
The vote seems to reflect the standings up to about round 7. Caruana's +2 is a recent development as is Aronian dropping back to +1.

If anyone wants to open a short-lived final poll before the final two rounds (there is a rest day beforehand)...
