Will he eventually be called Nakamura again? I am going to predict he will beat So. Caruana may win as well.

Not by me, as I think chess will want to sweep this under the carpet again (based on my email correspondence with the FIDE Ethics Commission)Christopher Kreuzer wrote:Will he eventually be called Nakamura again?

Can you reveal their reply? If, as I suspect, they said that they cannot investigate without a complaint from an interested party, then I'm not sure that they can say anything else.Mick Norris wrote: Not by me, as I think chess will want to sweep this under the carpet again (based on my email correspondence with the FIDE Ethics Commission)

Re: USA Championship 2016
I think I already posted it on here, but yes I am not blaming the Ethics Commission, although I do think they ought to be allowed to open an investigation where they see fit
My point is that there are a number of people who could raise a compliant, but they probably won't bother

I'm sure that the FIDE Ethics Commission will have a good laugh when they see this referral:

(Not at what is described as happening, which is bad enough on one level, but at Danailov and Topalov sending a letter like that and at the Russian news site for publishing that letter. Talk about bad blood.)
[This should really be separated out from this thread, though.]
