Levon Aronian has replaced Kramnik on the list of Grand Tour regulars for 2017.
Nepomniachtchi will hopefully provide some excitement as he replaces Topalov.
Anish Giri (who misses the GT) has been announced as the new top seed for the Reykjavik open, which this year will be played in the second half of April.
He will need to raise his win percentage a lot to regain his place for 2018.
