Nepomniachtchi has lost rather limply with white to So whilst Nakamura-MVL & Svidler-Anand were drawn.

Carlsen has beaten Karjakin and Aronian has blundered and looks like he will lose to Caruana.

Slightly odd to annotate the game and not comment on the moment that Aronian blundered the pieceMick Norris wrote:Picture of the scoresheet in the chess.com report

So far draws in Karjakin-Aronian, Caruana-Nepomniachtchi whilst Svidler has escaped from a bad position a pawn down to equality. Carlsen & So have extra pawns to try to convert.

Some people think Vishy had a draw all along against Magnus, but computers begged to differ on at least one occasion.

I suspect both players had their doubts too.Matt Mackenzie wrote:Some people think Vishy had a draw all along against Magnus, but computers begged to differ on at least one occasion.

I thought the theory of positions like that was well known. Every time I get a position like that (on either side) I manage to draw with the extra material and lose when defending. Must be doing something wrong...LawrenceCooper wrote:I suspect both players had their doubts too.Matt Mackenzie wrote:Some people think Vishy had a draw all along against Magnus, but computers begged to differ on at least one occasion.
