How about this?

What happens if the game score says "illegible" or "unable to reconstruct game" or anything else of a similar ilk?

Can a player forfeit a title norm due to bad handwriting?

It is the job of the norm-seeking player ( and generally a Law of Chess ) to provide a legible game score, and the job of the CA to ensure that one is reconstructed if necessary. I don't think that is unreasonable.

This can be enforced using common sense, but if there is a query regarding a game it is not acceptable to say "sorry, no game score survived".
