Well done to Geoff, for providing the report and photo above.
I had clicked a few minutes earlier on 'Information' at the chess24 site and got sent (on a direct link) to the SPTW website.
Once there however, I couldn't find a single mention of this event. I tried under Latest News, News, More News and Events - nothing!
Am I going mad? Or is there really no mention of their own flagship tournament at their own website?

I followed the games each round on chess24 and on Fiona's Twitch stream. You are right, though, that there doesn't appear to be any mention of the international on the SPTW website.Colin Patterson wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 6:33 pmWell done to Geoff, for providing the report and photo above.

And no mention of the various bodies who helped the event financially.

Thanks Lawrence for posting all of this.
Games were live on Chess 24, and I mentioned it on Twitter as Lawrence has said.
Even the day before the event it was not clear the Challengers event would be full- I respect all chess organisers especially for managing to organise all play all events!
See our news page which I try to update as much as possible- more events this weekend as over 100 girls are coming including simuls with IM Harriet Hunt and IM Susan Lalic.
