Would be pretty awesome if we could get the top 5 out to the Olympiad one year...

Olympiads always used to attract all the top names, almost without exception. A ladies team might have been Jana, Sheila, Susan Caldwell with Sue Lalic then Harriet coming along and Jovanka now, of course. A British Ladies Championship, sometimes run as an all-play-all, occasionally a Swiss - once drawing as many as 24 players - ensured they all met at least once a year.

Chess history is easy to forget. :mrgreen:
