There are two English entries to the event:

Ingrid Lauterbach 06.06.1960 405221 WIM 2109 England

There are currently 111 players registered, including 45 from Georgia and 18 from Russia!

Good luck to all

I see the top 14 qualify for the World Cup (hope they have changed the tiebreaker since the men's event) - do we know if any of those playing are already qualified?
Any postings on here represent my personal views

I've learned not to try and second guess FIDE but assume some of them must be qualified on rating. Luke has received no confirmation from FIDE yet that he has qualified for the World Cup so confusion reigns.

I think these reports should also mention multi-time British woman champion Keti Arakhamia-Grant whose round 2, board 12 game can currently be viewed on the live games.

In the last European women's championship Keti was right up there among the leaders until the closing rounds.

Keti now among 16 players (including N Kosintseva, Lahno, Stefanova and Cmilyte) with 2/2, and Lauterbach beat Houska!
