YOUR MOVE

Post by James Pratt » Sat Feb 25, 2023 3:17 pm

From the Band 'YES' listen at the start to chess references fighting to be heard. Me? I don't quite see it. First released over 50 years ago it still has immense popularity, tributes in cohorts and plenty.

I was lucky enough to see Yes live at the Hammersmith Odeon and superb they were. Timeless music for sure.

Not a band I ever listened to but they stayed the distance and put a lot of music out there.

By never having listened to them you are ideally placed to conduct a review and appreciation.

They produced a lot of albums, that's quite clear, so they must have been doing something right. Never really saw the appeal in them though.

Have heard quite a bit of their stuff and don't at all mind it, but prefer Floyd/Crimson/VdGG at the end of the day.

Exactly my thoughts about prolific chess writers.
