Apparently he had a phone call from Gaddafi and was keen to tell the media about it. He was described as President of the Internation Chess Federation as well as his own republic. I heard the clip on the PM programme at about 5.10pm.

Brief conversation starting at 8:25 into the programme. No context given as to why Gaddafi should be phoning Ilyumzhinov.

In which case he'll need to go 50:50 now. Asking the audience might not get him the answer he wants.
