I was thinking that you could have friendly opposition contrasting with antagonist opposition. In this context, "antagonist" implying a degree of forcefulness or hatred.

It would surely be opposition to the antagonists?
(Else it'd be antagonistic opposition.).

So either opposing people acting like that, or the use of beta blockers or such like :) In practice rather odd of course.
