Re: The English Language
Surprisingly, not! But it has:
Unlike static data, the time series of a feature comprise values changed with time.
But I again am unsure if it mean some values are dynamic or all of them do.

Why big guns? is it an idiom or should be translated word-by-word?

Another military term, like big guns. It probably means "after the following sequence of tactical moves". We'd need to see the game to be sure.soheil_hooshdaran wrote:What does skirmish mean in:

He says Black Bishop is a good Bishop and White's is a bad one. and continues: 'This bit of name calling lead us to believe that Black's Bishop is superior.'
Why did he use 'superior' and not 'better'?

Re: The English Language
It is poor writing style to repeatedly use the same word so Seirawan may just be varying the words he uses to make it read better.soheil_hooshdaran wrote: None at all?

I think poor here means inconsistent with your liking (somehow). What about poor piece (Bishop)?Ian Thompson wrote:It is poor writing style to repeatedly use the same word so Seirawan may just be varying the words he uses to make it read better.soheil_hooshdaran wrote: None at all?

If something is superior, it is better. So both have the same meaning in this case.
