Unlike static data, the time series of a feature comprise values changed with time.

But I again am unsure if it mean some values are dynamic or all of them do.

It means to attack a pawn with your Queen and/or Rooks.

Yes, an idiom."Big guns"meaning the most powerful objects.

Another military term, like big guns. It probably means "after the following sequence of tactical moves". We'd need to see the game to be sure.

He says Black Bishop is a good Bishop and White's is a bad one. and continues: 'This bit of name calling lead us to believe that Black's Bishop is superior.'
Why did he use 'superior' and not 'better'?

IGM & FST Seirawan is not a random person
It is poor writing style to repeatedly use the same word so Seirawan may just be varying the words he uses to make it read better.

I think poor here means inconsistent with your liking (somehow). What about poor piece (Bishop)?

If something is superior, it is better. So both have the same meaning in this case.
