Whose fault is it?

Post by soheil_hooshdaran » Sat Apr 11, 2015 8:28 am

Hello. I have sent a letter and an agreement on 16 March to London. The post clerk at my local post office says it has been sent out from Tehran on 17 March, but it has not yet been confirmed to arrive in England. He said it should have reached England in 3-5 days-Less than a week. Now what is the cause? Who should bear the accountability?

(a) In my experience, the fault will be in England
(b) The English Post Office should bear the accountability
(c) They won't

You'll just have to send it again.

I cannot totally agree with Michael F, above.
(I did smile at his recent Walrus & Carpenter analogy in 'ECF Matters/Terms of use?')

You are the author of your own tales of woe and you should bear primary responsibility.

Yes, try again but this time accompany the documents personally. Here is the method -

(A man posted himself from the UK to Australia... )

I am sure the publishers in the UK will be delighted to receive you and the documents so that the details can be thrashed out face-to-face & toe-to-toe, line-by-line, word-for-word, letter-by-letter, stroke-for-stroke (of the pen), ad infinitum.

If you used John's suggested method, it could do. A cautionary tale.

Seems Iran's post is not faultless, The track is lost after it was inserted into bag in Tehran.
