What flight is fine?

Post by soheil_hooshdaran » Wed Jun 10, 2015 3:38 pm

Hello.
I am quite excited! I've found out that the flight from Tehran to Paris costs about 180$. But I wonder what flight is fine? How can one choose a good flight?

Probably best to fly to/from Paris since you will avoid paying British airport taxes, which are some of the highest in the world. You should try to spend a few days in Paris and purchase a (return?) ticket for the Paris-London Eurostar train. That way you will arrive in London at Saint Pancras International station. From the station it is only a short bus or taxi ride to Northburgh Street and your desired destination.

Needing both a "Schengen" Visa and a UK/Ireland one might be a practical difficulty.

So you cannot travel with Schengen visa all over the Europe?

It covers almost all of Continental Europe, but not the offshore islands of Great Britain and Ireland.

If your likely route is via Paris then maybe you could try contacting the British Embassy in Paris for advice?
