Ned Kelly .....

Sir William Bragg (both of them), Don Bradman, Clive James, Dawn Frazer, Germaine Greer, Barry Humphries, Dame Nellie Melba, Rupert Murdoch, Sir Robert Menzies, Yvonne Goolagong, Rod Laver, Ian Thorpe, Richie Benaud, Greg Norman, Errol Flynn, John Howard,

your boys took one helluva beating!

Funny how all my Aussie friends, who a year ago were all cricket fans, have morphed into die-hard rugby fans. Apparently Australia have just won the Bledisloe Cup by beating the All Blacks 27-19.
Ah, but I was so much older then. I'm younger than that now.

I visited The Gambia in the spring of each of 2013 and 2014.

On my first visit, I was told, and could readily believe, that all Gambians supported Manchester United.

On my second visit, I found much less enthusiasm for some reason.
