I wouldn't know about a spec, but an actual example (Bristol league data) can be found at
http://www.chessit.co.uk/Results/2011-2 ... League.txt .

Thanks! :) I think that I understand something. ;) Will pass it to Neil Hayward.

May I ask if the meaning of the code below is as follows: White player ID 126 lost to Black player ID 3, White player ID 94 drew with Black player ID 10, and White player ID 134 won against Black player ID 79?

Code: Select all

# MATCH RESULTS #
# PIN1 =  126 # # SCORE = 01 # # PIN2 =   3 # # BOARD =  1 # # GAME DATE = 06/09/2011 # # COMMENT = Downend B v Bath A  #
# PIN1 =   94 # # SCORE = 55 # # PIN2 =  10 # # BOARD =  2 # # GAME DATE = 06/09/2011 # # COMMENT = Downend B v Bath A  #
# PIN1 =  134 # # SCORE = 10 # # PIN2 =  79 # # BOARD =  6 # # GAME DATE = 06/09/2011 # # COMMENT = Grendel v Clifton B #

Hi Robert, I don't know if someone replied to you via private message, but I can confirm that what you have stated is correct.
After the word SCORE
01 = pin2 win
55 = draw
10 = pin 1 win

Handy to know if clubs are now going to have to grade internal games when they previously didn't.

Of course they aren’t. The Board will just delete them from the website's club list if they don’t.

Robert, I take it you're looking after the submission of results for Ashtead CC.

Can I suggest you contact Richard Haddrell ([email protected]) for information on results submissions? Richard is the ECF's Grading Administrator.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I will contact Mr Richard Haddrell (at [email protected]) in regard to the ECF grading file format. Mr Michael Gunn has kindly accepted to be the grader of the Ashtead Chess Club internal (graded) chess tournament. My question was more related to the ECF grading file format which I intend to pass to Mr Michael Gunn. I use Tournament Director program (for Windows) and as it has no ability (yet) to record individual game dates my intention was to manually alter the (automatically) generated ECF grading file (adding individual game dates). Thanks.
