I am sorry to inform you that James Ditchfield passed away on 16th January 2023, aged 78 years, in Haslingden, Lancashire.
James was a valued member of Rossendale Chess Club (Lancashire).
Outside chess, James was a lifelong Burnley Football Club supporter.
He was passionate about cricket, having played in the Lancashire League at Rawtenstall Cricket Club.
His funeral will be held on Friday 10th February at Accrington Crematorium at 11am.
