I am sorry to inform you that Dave Pratt has passed away recently.
Dave played for Thurnby Chess Club in Leicestershire between July 1999 and October 2019.
His first game being against Wigston 2 and his last against Kirby Muxloe 2.
Dave also played for Oadby Chess Club and Telephones Chess Club in the late 1970s.
The grading list in 1979 showed his rating as 174.
There is a tribute on the Leicestershire and Rutland Chess Association website dated 20th April 2023.

The funeral is on Friday 5th May, 12.30pm, at Gilroes Cemetery and Crematorium, Groby Road, Leicester, LE3 9QG.
