The Russian Chess Federation is reporting the sad news that the legendary chess trainer and author Mark Dvoretsky has died.

Now that's a big loss. RIP, the man who would double check and rethink every piece of analysis and astonish the world with his discoveries.

RIP Mark. The English translations of his books, & changes were helpful for players at my level. Astonishing as per Jonathan.
