Good effort with the photos, John! It was interesting to find faces not seen for a few years. Congratulations to Ken Norman and Julien Shepley.

Yes - Ken Coates looks a bit different! And Julien Shepley's beard is spectacular - I have only played him online in the last few years, so was unaware of the change.

Looks like a good attendance, which I'm sure Keith would have apppreciated.

I neglected to mention that I sold a bunch of s/h chess books and combined with entry fees a collection of at least £345 was made for The Parkinson Trust which was KBRs preferred charity.

See

The peak entry has been just shy of 40 which is about the limit for the venue.

It would be nice to push the entry back up to the 40 mark in 2023.

"And Julien Shepley's beard is spectacular"

Quantum mutatus ab illo Shepleio! But no less potent over the board, it seems.

Are you able to correct Julien Shepley's name in the captions of all the images he appears in? [With apologies if he has altered the spelling of his name.]

I can change it from Julien Shepley to Julien M. Shepley if you wish?

It's definitely given as "Julian"... when you hover over the image

In the gallery you mentioned further up this thread, all the images of him are captioned Julian rather than Julien.
