Northumberland Chess Congress?
Not the Northumbria Masters, but the congress that usually takes place in September at North Shields. Does anyone know if it is happening this year? I can't see it on the ECF Calendar.

I've had a phonecall today with Mick Riding, the organiser of the Northumberland Congress and I should hopefully have some good news to report in the next few days.
Mick says he has been busy with the organisation of the Durham Congress.
All the best.
Simon.

I have received a couple of texts from the organiser of the Northumberland Congress, Mick Riding.
I am pleased to report that the Northumberland Congress is taking place this year from Friday 29th September to Sunday 1st October at the same venue as last year.
