This is a new event hoping to address the shortage of rapid congresses in the South West.
6 rounds of 25m+10s.
The venue is Axmouth Village Hall, close to the Devon/Dorset border in a picturesque setting opposite two pubs and 10 minutes walk along the river from the fishing harbour and beach.
We also have a top arbiter in the shape of IM/IA Jack Rudd.
More details and entry form - http://www.seatonchessclub.co.uk/ - early entry might be advisable as the capacity is limited.
Postcode of the venue: EX12 4AF.

A very nice tournament, well run, and a very friendly atmosphere. Thanks to the organizers. Jack Rudd was arbiter and I don't think he had any disputes to sort out, or if he did, he managed to sort them out very quickly and peacefully.
I managed the curious achievement of winning two games by delivering mate with a knight. I expect the odd one during a season, but two in one day is nice!
