The 2012 Downend Summer Quickplay begins on 26th June and continues on 10th & 24th July concluding on 15th August.
Players will have 15 mins to complete all moves and will play 2 games (black & white) against each of 3 opponents, 6 games in the evening. Entry fee £2.00 adults / £1.00 juniors.
Last summer 58 players competed over the 4 evenings and the resulting prize fund produced a 1st prize of £65.00, the highest ever!

32 bodies at Downend tonight, 188 games completed, good competitive stuff with IM Jim Sherwin leading the charge!
