Indeed. I'm also working on trying to secure more space as we have a number of additional people who want to play!IM Jack Rudd wrote:The Challengers and Intermediate look... interesting for pairing purposes. If you need any help working out pairings for those, let me know.

Re: e2e4 Basingstoke International
Further update. I will know on Tuesday if we can have more space so if you are interested in playing do let me know by then. I'm also trying to source alternative tables which will allow more players without affecting the quality of the playing space.
As an aside, I've been asked if we will be accelerating the pairings. Given that Jack Rudd is in the bottom half of the draw, I don't think it's necessary!

Colours will be decided by the number of goals scored in the Arsenal v Schalke Champions League game. If there is an even number of goals, the top seed in each section will play white. If there is an odd number of goals, the top seed will play black. For these purposes, zero goals will count as an even number.

Seems to be OK now. Positions on my browser were all frozen for about half an hour very near the start, for some reason.

Could have been an interruption to the internet access at this end. That would explain it looking ok on the network, but not reaching the wider world. If it jumped a load of moves, that's almost certainly it.Richard Bates wrote:Seems to be OK now. Positions on my browser were all frozen for about half an hour very near the start, for some reason.
