Following our successful event last year we return to the Park Inn West Bromwich for our first event of 2014. We have three sections - a FIDE Open, U160 Major and U130 Minor and, as always, discounted hotel rates for players wanting to stay at the venue.
Parking on site is free for chess players (staying at the venue or not) and the venue is easily accessible by public transport. We hope to see you at this event.

Colours for West Bromwich will be decided by the Swansea -v- Napoli Europa league tie. If there are an odd number of goals, the top seed in each section will be white in round 1. If there are an even number of goals (including no goals) the top seed in each section will be black in round 1.
