1st Bexhill (Sussex) Rapidplay 17 May 2014

Post by Adam Raoof » Mon Apr 14, 2014 12:10 pm

After the success of the Bexhill Congress ("Hampstead-on-Sea" - next event 28-29 June with an extra section for U120 ECF players) we've decided to try out a rapidplay - "Golders Green on Sea", if you will. It's at a different venue, even nearer to the railway station and you can get special day fares to Bexhill for less than £10.00 if you are quick.

a rapidplay on Saturday 17th May

http://sussexrapidchess.blogspot.co.uk/

This will take place in St Barnabas, a beautiful neo-Gothic right in the centre of Bexhill church with a proportion of funds going towards its restoration/maintenance.

Laden down with chess books you hardly ever read? Players who may have some chess books they would like to sell/exchange can bring them to the event where we will organise a bookstall for you. Just use a post-it note inside the front cover with your name and desired price and we will do our best.

Also in Bexhill on the 17th to help make the day special is a French Market.

French traders provide the wonderful smells of a typical french market with fresh bread and croissant baked at the market, delicious roasted coffee, pancakes and confectionery.
