What lies would these be and for that matter what e2e4 events?

You surely don't deny that the prize fund at the 2014 English Seniors was not as advertised prior to the event and that the two winners of prizes were not announced until August 2014 for a tournament that took place in April.

It's pretty clear that he is making the decisions, hence your ban. In fact, after the grief you've caused us with your lies, consider yourself barred from e2e4 events too.
I was chairman of the Witney chess club committee for six years and can categorically state that during that time Mike Truran never took a unilateral decision. He always consulted with me and when necessary we took matters to the committee who reached a consensus. This is why the relationship worked so well and no doubt why Witney won the award for ECF club of the year. I doubt that has changed following my departure in 2013. Mike was a visionary, dynamic and occasionally I found it difficult to keep pace with the rate of (beneficial) change but I never saw him as undemocratic. If you think otherwise perhaps you have misjudged the character of the man.

Thanks for letting us know. What would you suggest that we do with the contracts we've agreed for 2015?

Any further info would be great Sean, doing an e2-e4 was always on my list of things to get round to, and it was disappointing when we believed they were folding. I shall be entering at least one of the 2015 ones :D

Yes, when Carl says that he doesn't want to see any more posts on a topic, the obvious solution is simply to create a new thread! :D

People... perhaps.

Chessplayers... more difficult.

The other thread Christopher linked is locked, so I can't congratulate Jack Rudd there on posting that ace picture of "Evil Willow" for all us Buffyverse fans.
