Thanks Steve. To be fair, based on the great feedback you had about the Shropshire Congress and the numbers you're attracting, you will be a hard act to follow.
Up to 110 now.

130 entrants in the end, including six GMs. Pretty happy with that for our first event!

Well two of the players have run out of time but I wouldn't take that as gospel without seeing the results.Mike Truran wrote:?

I did check the results: Hebden 1/2 Jackson 1/2 and Horton 1 Wadsworth 0.
Which seems entirely consistent with the final positions on the live boards.
I'm no expert in these matters, but maybe the players (or arbiters) failed to do what was needed to record the correct results on the electronic scoreboards?

Crosstables, prizewinners, games etc are now up on the 4NCL website.
Many thanks to all the players who took part in a very successful event. And particular thanks to Alex Holowczak, Dave Thomas, Tom Thorpe, Dave Clayton and Steve Connor for making it all happen.
Details of our second FIDE rated congress to follow shortly ......
