Bolton Easter April 3-5 2015 - FIDE rated Open

Post by Mick Norris » Wed Dec 31, 2014 10:33 am

I have been told that Bolton will have a FIDE rated Open and that it is hoped that half a dozen juniors and a couple of adults from Pontevedra (Galicia, NW Spain) will be playing as part of a proposed visit to 3Cs

Bolton Easter includes a Busy Persons event on the afternoon of Saturday April 4

The top section of the Easter West of England Championships in Exmouth will also be FIDE rated for the first time. There's no formal announcement yet of a Southend Congress, which has been FIDE rated for many years.

There's a FIDE Open for non Welsh players alongside the Welsh Championships in Cardiff. It doubles up as the event for Welsh players not qualifying for their Championships.
