I've been considering this one. Not being Welsh, I would have to play the second section.

I've been playing in Easter Congresses longer than I would care to remember. They are usually seven rounds, but with the single round day on Easter Monday. Perhaps it's the normal Welsh schedule for reasons lost in the mists of time, but why have a "rest half-day" Easter Sunday?

I remember one year playing in Dublin. Good for Guinness you might think. Not on Good Friday. Perhaps it's changed but that was a dry day apart from restaurants.

It's not a long-standing schedule. I played for 3 years from 2011 to 2013. In those three years it was one game on Friday evening (5 pm or 6 pm start), two on Saturday, two on Sunday and two on Monday. For the days with two games the first started at 9:30 am and the second at 3:30 pm or 4:00 pm.
