3rd 4NCL FIDE Rated Congress

We will be holding our third FIDE rated congress for individuals at Holiday Inn, Birmingham Airport over the weekend of 17-19 July 2015. Further details and entry forms will be available soon.

GM Peter Wells has now entered, hotfooting it from Cardiff to Birmingham on the Friday evening as soon as the South Wales International finishes!

I wonder why the tournement's duration is so short

Because it's a weekend congress. It's designed to be an event for amateur players to play in without needing to take any time off work.

We're now up to 80+ entrants, with all three sections shaping up nicely in terms of numbers. The entry list on the 4NCL website should hopefully be updated shortly.

There's still time to enter!

...... and the 4NCL website has now been updated (apart from some further entries today).
