Pardon my ignorance, but a couple of names I recognised had 'Plate' beside their result. What does 'Plate' mean?

Children 1st in Group go to Terrafinal
Children 2nd or 3rd go to Challengers
Children scoring 3.5 or more go to Plate competition

Children scoring less than 3.5 go into a Scholarship competition.
