Andrew
Looks like a great venue, with plenty of space for the players and great views for the spectators from on high. Congratulations to all involved.
Just out of interest - if scoresheets were used (looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like they were, but I guess some players may have wanted to record their games anyway), how did that go given the size of the tables? (perfect for a board and a clock, but maybe a little tight for scoresheets?)

Re: ECF Nat Schools Girls Championships 2015/16
Conditions are better at the final with bigger tables.
I agree the exam desks are not ideal , as scoresheets cannot easily fit on them. Thus we provide scoresheets only at the final.
That is chess organised in a school. You make the best of what they can provide.

A minor point. As I said, an excellent venue from the look of it. Well done to the school, organisers, parents, managers, players, and everyone else involved.
Not sure what the resident school cat did to help though. Maybe kept the mice population down?
