Good luck to all, it's one of my favourite venues for junior events so I'm sure all will enjoy their time there.

Ravi should be on chess24 too live
Ilya Misyura live here
Akshaya too here
1 pm UK time I think
I assume Akshaya is a serious medal hope, and that Ravi has a chance too
Good luck to all the English players

Round 1 15:00 local time (1:00pm UK time).
From the technical meeting:
1. All sections except U8 will have top 10 boards broadcast live with 30 minutes delay as anti-cheating measure.
2. Pairings available one hour after the round on chess-results and on receptions of all hotels

While groups of 'cadets' are certainly more usually male, the word's primary meaning is connected with 'youngness' or 'training'. I think now girls can be described as 'cadets' without any sense that this is an unusual use of the word.soheil_hooshdaran wrote:Sorry, if it is 'cadets', why girl participated too?
