The prize and title are shared, except the Neil Carr Scholarship prize which was decided by tie break.

As a chess parent I must say the Bournemouth event was excellent. Well organised and in an interesting, family friendly location. My daughter, Niamh had one of her better performances. 3rd equal overall in the under 10's - half a point ahead of the aforementioned Shreyas Royal - and 1st Girl by a full point. There were other great Lancashire performances too, for example Joe Birks was 2nd equal in the under 9's.
