Avatar Rules

I was planning to add an avatar to my profile but it seems the Board now only allows pre-registered avatars and it is no longer possible to upload ones own choice. Carl, is this an accident of upgrade, a policy, or have I missed something? If a policy, why does West Ham get preferential treatment over Forest?

Always been the same rule Michael but email me the image and I will crop and upload it.
I am way behind on forum updates we need to upgrade the software and go SSL but not had a free weekend in ages to roll it out.
