World Universities Chess Championship Report
Dear All,
It is my pleasure to make available a report on the recent WUCC competition, written by Hannah Dale and Sarah Hegarty. They were part of the team of 4 who represented English universities in Zurich.
Within the report there is an overview of the tournament, round by round, photographs, and annotated games.
A PDF version with the games in pgn format are available to download from this post.
If you prefer a Word Document format, you can download it from here.
Enjoy!
Ljubica

Microsoft Word. If you do not have the 2007/2010 version, or do not have Word at all, you can download a reader from the Microsoft website.

Ljubica - can you post the file in .doc format or pdf, for those without the latest version of Word?

Open Office will also open this file, for those who don't feel like paying extortionate amounts for a word processor
True glory lies in doing what deserves to be written; in writing what deserves to be read.

When I get a chance to get to my other laptop with Adobe on it, I shall PDF it.

Open Office is great - not only will it open Microsoft Office Word documents, but you can save them as PDF files without any hassle (i.e. going via Adobe) at all.

If anybody is volunteering to download the document and convert it to PDF with their copy of OpenOffice, I certainly for one, will not object!

Here it is (but done from Word using Acrobat). The embedded PGN files do not open when converted to this format.Ljubica Lazarevic wrote:If anybody is volunteering to download the document and convert it to PDF with their copy of OpenOffice, I certainly for one, will not object!

I usually save documents like this as RTFs. Just about any wordprocessor can read an RTF.
