Kramnik-Aronian match
Kramnik-Aronian match
Via TWIC, Kramnik announced a 6 game match with Aronian in April today. Video. I enjoy matches, and like both players, so I'm happy.
Interestingly a rapid game will be played if any game finishes in less than 3 hours.

Who thinks this match will be more interesting than the official world championship this year between two players in their forties who have each finished fifth or so (or worse) in their latest events?

I think the words "western Europe" were a slight hint against Baku even before that.Roger de Coverly wrote:I think Baku can be ruled outMick Norris wrote: Has the venue been confirmed as Zurich?
