I have messaged Andrew Walker who may beable to help us.
If Fred is not at the address and is now in a care home unless neighbours know which one it will not be easy to find out where Fred is.Some one local to the last address would have to visit it and knock on doors in the hope a neighbour could say where Fred is.

If he was known to play correspondence, is it worth approaching the BCCA, NATCOR, SCCA and so on? He may still be playing postal from the nursing home, and they will have the address of the place.

Sadly I could find no record of my game with the mysterious Mr Coombs, I lost interest in CC and I think I must have disposed of all my records, not even sure it was Fred.

Great news Guys.

Through an un-named contact who knows me and views these forums I have been contacted with details that may help hugely.

He lives in a nursing home in Surrey, Mordon. Road name Eastway, The person believe the nursing home was called The Oaks.

So I will now look it up on Google and contact them. Hopefully if he has left they know where he has gone. And can help out.

Hi Peter,

Was you not going to try and get something to him before Xmas then? A Card sent tomorrow would get there.

Before sending him a card I would want to make sure that the people who run the home are happy for me to do this.So first one has to write to the manger of the home to make sure this is ok.Fred may not want any one to write to him. After christmas is the best time to write and i will let you all know what answer i get.

Hi Barry,

I have not heard anything myself. As you saw I did everything I could to find out where he was and get Fred a card and to see how he is. But it seems getting in touch with him has been more difficult that we thought. Not sure if Peter has followed this up like he said he would.
