Danny Wright
Reading the posts on Arthur Hall reminds me of other strong players of that era: for example Danny Wright. He played in the Hastings Premier, was approaching IM strength, then stopped playing. What happened to him? Is he still with us? Googling around I notice that there are 2 Danny Wrights listed on ChessGames .com, which leads to confusion, but it's the older one I am interested in.

Re: Danny Wright
Danny still plays for Cavendish. He is about 185-190. He just lost interest in international chess.
I spoke to David Mabbs recently. He gave yp chess completely for any number of years, but intends taking it up again.
