Noy a free game, I wanted to avoid rating loss

Here's a funny thing. I get lots of free games with no rating loss (or gain, for that matter) down my local chess club. Some evenings more than half a dozen, depending on the time control me and my opponents agree on. They're called "friendlies". You should try it.

The idea is that he wants his wins to count for rating but not his losses.

Soheil, I find it quite extraordinary that you investigated the possibility of delaying paying your entry fee in order to see how your first game went and then either paying (if you won) or withdrawing without paying (if you lost). It is also extraordinary that you publicly admit to having done so. In the UK, most tournament organisers put on a tournament for chess players for no financial reward for themselves. How could they do this with players acting in the way you did? Why should they be expected to put up with it? Don't you feel embarrassed and ashamed about the way you behaved?

I once had a player from that area of the world. He had an anglicised name he used in Scotland and his proper name.

He wanted to play his good tournaments under one name and his bad ones under the other. He seemed to think that was acceptable and didn't understand why I did not approve. I then asked him how he would know which name to use when he entered. His reply was that it was only when the results were sent for grading would the name be decided. I'm still waiting on an answer to what effect that would have on his opponents and on his own grade if his opponent's did likewise.

So in order to get 1 free game of chess, you will accept a 6 month tournament ban??

Oh dear, as Stewart has already answered your ridiculous question, I'll save him the energy it would waste to provide the reasons.

If you were serious, you were a charlatan.
If you were joking, you were wasting everybodys time.

However, if that isn't clear enough, imagine if the arbiter had announced to the room what you had just told him/her. Try to gauge the reaction, and you may get an idea as to the merits.
