Re: News

Tim has decided to leave the forum. I wonder whether Carl would kindly clarify - is it open to Tim to return? I ask, less out of interest in Tim's intentions and more as his past comments seem to have been a significant reason for others leaving this forum. If he has been excluded, that might be a ...

The matter may be closed but I'd suggest there remains a question mark over someone's judgment in writing the post in the first place.

Re: News

The post has been edited after a discussion between Joseph and Tim. Edited? Come on Carl, you're better than that. The fact is that an ECF election is in progress and there is material which, by his own hand, looks very damaging to one of the candidates. It is hugely disappointing that you have jum...

Re: Direct Members’ Representatives – elections

And here is the message I received from this members but also I got a Similar message from someone from one of my clubs telling me this as well John. In my opinion any Silver member who is considering casting a vote for Tim Wall should be aware of his post early this morning. He has removed it, but...

Re: News

Nick (or moderators), Please can you delete or edit that post to remove most of it. Lots of things appear on the internet around midnight that should be allowed to quietly disappear in the morning. The post has been edited after a discussion between Joseph and Tim. Tim has decided to leave the forum.

I reported this post yesterday for 'silliness'.
Again the recommendation is the use of the foe list for any members simply getting on your nerves.

Are you aware that you can create a "foes list"? When you add a poster to it, their posts don't show up.

I have just tried it out. It does indeed provide some respite.
The use of the foes list is recommended by the moderators who are ploughing through multiple complaints this morning.

Re: British Championship Congress 2021

Why are there two threads with the same name I am confused? They were started at different times, the first pre-lockdown. They may as well be merged if that's straightforward. Carl. perhaps you could contact a moderator and ask him to merge them . Continued thanks for everything you do. Jack s...

Any first name that scores highly on the scrabble board is a bit iffy if you ask me. Do you get a moneyback guarantee within 7 days if not satisfied?
Last chance if you continue to be an idiot I am going to remove you.

Re: Unwritten rules on epitaphs!?

What's the point Assuming the question is in the context of the `substantive point` I referred to, the original question was whether there is too wide a range of obituaries being shared on this forum. Sad as it is I think I am really not sure we need to be searching and posting for every chess play...

There are a couple of inactive Matthew Fletchers on the grading list, one from Hull the other from Gloucester. Neither are me.
I will remove a couple of posts if James does not clarify soon.
