It is a bit rich having to buy DVD’s in order to learn to use the program properly You don't HAVE to buy anything. There's a huge (239 pages!) manual on the disk in pdf format, and an extensive help file in the program itself (neither of which, in my experience, do people look at before contactin...

Hit the "infinite analysis" button. This will start the engine thinking on the current board position until you stop it. If you make a move, the engine will instantly start analysing the new position.

There's a host of other analysis functions. Check out the help files for "analysis" first of all...

Does anyone know if Shredder 9 should run on Windows 7 or not? It appears to install successfully. It then (as expected) asks for the CD the first time it is run. Then it says the CD in the drive is the wrong one, when it isn't. It's not clear to me whether this is a Windows 7 problem (so I need to...

Hi John, I'd need to double check, but I assume you'd just connect the board to a laptop. Log that laptop into playchess.com and then go into the broadcast room and create a new broadcast.

I may be wrong, but I would guess that should do it.
