Re: My Resignation
Question. How much longer is this insane farce going to continue? Well the Keene-Miles affair is well over 21 years old and counting so this youngster has some way to run yet. Of course, the K-M thing not being satisfactorily resolved at the time is partly why we're he now with the CJ stuff. Does t...

Re: "Chess is a game"
Beat me to it Ben. The "That's Life" team chose to play the sport round against CJ and said that they hoped there were no questions on chess to which CJ replied "Chess is a game".

Thanks Carl. Everyone is happy now, (that the grades have come out - not necessarily happy with their grade)!

Re: 2010/ 11 grades
Interesting rumours flying around at Worcester. Player A comes in and informs me that the grades are due out at 10:00. Player B then tells me 09:30. Player C also says 09:30 and I ask him where he got his info from, Player B comes the reply. 11:00 comes and goes still no grades. Player B wanders pas...

Re: CCF v Surrey
Ben Ogunshola made a point of asking us if we could provide digital clocks. I have tried to avoid getting involved in this debate but have been dragged into it if only to put right the mistruths told about our business. As previously stated we only supply analogue clocks to congresses. Although How...

[quote=Just read this tosh, when we passed the previous Congress entries contact data to you in 2000, you didn't say "no no no Data Protection". But, when it came to 2002 Congress in Balham, you refused to pass on the details of the players who entered to Mike Gunn & Tony Corfe who were going to run...

Re: CCF v Surrey
Apparently, my source tells me that the good clocks were with John & Chris at another event. Sorry Paul, but your source is completely wrong. CCF Mindgames have never had any digital clocks to loan out to congresses. Our 100 clocks are (and always have been) analogue. Check here http://www.ccfworld...

Hi Michael,
CCF Mindgames are in Coulsdon about 15 miles south of the centre of London, approx 5 minutes from Smitham and Coulsdon South railway stations. We have approximately 3000 used chess books in stock. You will be very welcome to come and browse over a cup of tea/coffee.

Re: Have your say to the Chief Executive
The ECF links section, which continues to deny mention of this valuable forum, still manages to include a link to the Greek online grading database. This document is written in Greek, with no English version offered...... We are considered pretty low priority here  Ίσως Ï€ÏÎπει όλÎ...

Since when have arbiters written the laws. I thought that arbiters are there to enforce the Laws of Chess as written by the appropriate chess authority.
