Re: Doess playing to much online chess effect your game?

This is the last time I EVER write on this forum. People pre- judging on no evidence at all, I therefore will not be posting anymore views or anything on this forum. God Bless.      Matt. don't let people put you off. this is a good question and has the pot...

Re: come dine with me

Why Nimzowitsch? I know, so you can have a go at him about that daft opening. Mikhail Tal is popular i was making reference to the story about him having some sort of complex about portion size and the 'threatening to smoke' story. joking aside, i really would like to have a meal with him. i find '...

Re: Does chess involve to much politics?

If others disagree that's fine, but therefore why bother putting the *** - they might as well put the full word. However, they know the full word would not be acceptable, so why do they think an 'edited' word is OK ? i agree with the asterisks point. broadsheet newspapers print the whole word, news...

Re: Does chess involve to much politics?

There is a place in the Orkney's called Twatt. I once was helping out a guy who lived in Twatt house, Twatt, Orkney. (notice 3 t's!) if you are in a town with a grope lane or grape lane, can you guess what the proper name was? i won't put it here for fear of offending delicate sensibilities but loo...

Re: Does chess involve to much politics?

If you want females to become involved in chess (and they are certainly under-represented on this forum) you do not use vulgar words like the one used on this occasion. that's right. the scarcity of female chess players is due to swearing. what a ridiculous statement. and what a ridiculously victor...
