Re: ECF meeting reports
It would be helpful if the Minutes actually said who DE is, given the frequency of the initials appearing (David Eustace I assume)

Re: 4NCL Time control
Is 4NCL the same as the Bundesliga?
Would it be possible for an earlier start on either day?
Is it possible to survey the players at the final weekend?

Re: Counties and clubs
Do we actually have any counties that don't have a league of their own? I don't think there's even a Lancashire league as such? It would have had to be large town based and maybe weekend based like the Yorkshire league, but it's ended up all evening leagues split between Merseyside, GM and various ...

Re: Counties and clubs
Yes. Counties, especially the historical ones, aren't very well matched to modern population densities. Chess leagues naturally tend to follow the latter! The Manchester league say is an thorough going mixture county wise even if you count Greater Manchester as one. There's still some clubs fairly ...

Re: Rapid events with over rated players.
in county matches where players had to be in rating order at the national stages Elephant in the room. Well, they don't do they? If enough people wanted to change it, we could get it changed Board order is very contentious, I find it causes the most problems in the Manchester League, and most of th...

Re: 4NCL 2023-24 Division Four
