Divisions 3S and 3N were rearranged to form divisions 3 and 4, not just division 4, so there have been 6 leagues in total (not counting the National League even though as mentioned above that is now largely professional). The week 17 scores have been amended as scores from the Bournemouth v Luton game have been annulled and substitutions made where necessary. This means Stuart Iles now has seven more points, Matthew Timbrell is now in 5th place and Anthony Kent now has the top score for the week.

I don't think the last weekend pairings should be decided before weekend 4 is played. It is possible that one of the teams currently on 7 points might lose their next two matches and one of the teams on 6 might win theirs. Why should one of the leaders then play a team on 7 points rather than a team...

If one group was much weaker than the other, then the two Swiss rounds at the end probably wouldn't be enough to compensate for the advantage of starting in the weaker group. Is there any reason why the weekend tournament finishes as late as 8.30 on Sunday? I'd like to play in it but the need for an extra night's accommodation at London prices, and to take a day off work on the Monday, makes it rather less attractive.
