I was also able to see Bobby Fischer against the World while waiting on the Sunday night for my coach back down to Stoke.

Where is it envisaged would county chess fit into the tiered membership structure?

Would the new charity have to pay VAT?

Interesting A possible approach is:- SD = 25 Y = 100 - X A = R - PPND(Y/2) x SD / SQRT(N) B = R + PPND(Y/2) x SD / SQRT(N) where SD is short for standard deviation. Reluctance to deal with negative grades

Further to John Upham's post is anything going to be done about negative grades, which in my opinion is a far bigger issue than alignment or not with FIDE / Elo grades?

John,

When you say align do you mean changing the scale and location of ECF grades i.e. 250 to 2600, 3 digits to 4 digits, and / or the method of calculating ECF grades?
