I had a look on the Ginger gm website and was able to watch a clip from one of the videos. It looked very good so I've ordered both volumes. I think I will enjoy them even if I don't get any better.

The Silman endgame book is excellent. I like the way it is split into sections of what is necessary at each level of play. Nicky would have all the work of selecting what to look at done for him. A big time saver.

Thanks to everyone involved in the organisation, it was a thoroughly enjoyable event. You weren't quite full then. I thought you might be over subscribed and wasn't sure I'd get in. I'll try and enter earlier next time to make sure.
The Leamington one is a good one for you to go to. There should be quite a lot of juniors and if the weather is nice there is a good park over the road to run around in at lunch time.
